Optimizing Power Quality: Insights from our Harmonic Mitigation Seminar

At EITA Electric, we are committed to keeping our clients at the forefront of industry best practices. To support this mission, we recently collaborated with Fuji Electric to host a specialized seminar titled “Mastering Harmonic: From Compliance to Mitigation.”

Event Overview

Empowering Industry Professionals

Held on 7 October 2025, the seminar provided a dedicated platform for engineering professionals and facility managers to deep-dive into the critical challenges of power quality. Through this collaboration, we aimed to equip participants with the technical knowledge necessary to optimize their electrical systems for greater efficiency and reliability.

Key Highlights of the Session

Our program focused on actionable strategies that bridge the gap between regulatory requirements and real-world application. Key discussions included:

  • Navigating Standards: Comprehensive insights into harmonic standards, including IEEE 519 and IEC requirements, ensuring participants understand how to maintain compliance.
  • Advanced Mitigation Techniques: A practical review of harmonic mitigation solutions, ranging from passive filtering to advanced active technologies, tailored for diverse industrial needs.
  • Operational Optimization: Practical methods for applying the Affinity Laws to achieve significant energy savings in centrifugal applications, such as fans and pumps.

Beyond the lectures, we featured interactive product booths where attendees could explore our latest solutions firsthand. Our team was on-site throughout the day to provide live product demonstrations and address specific technical questions from our guests.

To conclude the event, we held an exciting lucky draw session; we would like to congratulate all our lucky winners and thank everyone for their enthusiastic participation.

Professional Accreditation

We are pleased to confirm that this seminar was officially registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM). Attendees were eligible to earn CPD points, further supporting their professional development and certification requirements.

This seminar underscores our commitment to providing our partners with the technical expertise, training, and reliable solutions needed to ensure long-term operational success.
